About Us

129th Luther Place (Edmonton) Scouts

Since 1965...
Worldwide Scouting celebrated it's centennial in 2007, and Scouting in West Edmonton reached the age of 42.

The 129th Luther Place Scouts runs weekly meetings from the beginning of September through to the beginning of the soccer season (usually mid-may).

The goal of scouting is:
To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

The 129th Luther Place Scouts have always focussed on outdoor skills, but we also focus on confidence and leadership, all the while having a whole lot of fun.
